Job summary

Roots Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician in India to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and network devices. You will ensure high availability and security for the entire IT estate, including Wi‑Fi networks, CCTV systems, and firewall/VPN setups.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows administration, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking basics, including VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.

Qualifications

• Windows administration and troubleshooting.
• Desktop and laptop hardware maintenance.
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, Routing, and Switching.
• Firewall administration and VPN management.
• Wi‑Fi network management and troubleshooting.
• CCTV, NVR/DVR, and surveillance system administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all IT infrastructure endpoints and network devices .To ensures high availability, security, and performance of desktops, laptops, network devices, Wi-Fi infrastructure, surveillance systems,Firewall and related IT assets.
