Job summary

Maitri Lab Grown Diamonds seeks an experienced IT Administrator in Surat to install, configure, and maintain desktops, servers, and network gear. You will support end users, manage LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and firewalls, and ensure security and backups are in place.

The role covers hardware repairs, asset management, vendor coordination, and proactive monitoring to minimize downtime and safeguard our IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop, server and network support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS and DHCP configuration.
• Familiarity with firewall management, VPNs and remote access.
• Ability to perform data backups, DR planning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Configure and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN networks.
• Install and configure switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (Sophos, SonicWALL, etc.).
• Install and manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, NVRs/DVRs, IP cameras, and network video infrastructure.
• Perform structured cabling, patch panel termination, rack installation, and cable management.
• Configure fiber networking, SFP modules, media converters, and network racks.
• Provide technical support to end users via remote and onsite assistance.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Perform data backup, disaster recovery, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support.
• Ensure IT security best practices, antivirus management, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor system uptime and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
