Job summary

MH CLUB & RESORTS in Ranchi is seeking a Guest Service Associate F&B to welcome guests, take orders, and ensure service standards are met. You will explain menus, handle payments, and assist with banquets and in-room dining as needed.

The role requires hospitality education, strong Hindi and English communication, and the ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends. Accommodation assistance is provided for outstation candidates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or hospitality background preferred.
• Good communication in Hindi and English.
• Willingness to relocate to Ranchi on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the restaurant, seat them, and present the menu.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and pass them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and drinks in the correct sequence and to the resort's service standards.
• Explain the menu, recommend dishes, and answer questions on ingredients and dietary needs.
• Set up and reset tables, and prepare the service station before and after each shift.
• Check on guests during the meal and respond to requests promptly.
• Handle guest complaints calmly, fix the issue where possible, and elevate to the supervisor when needed.
• Prepare bills, process payments (cash, card, UPI), and coordinate with the cashier.
• Follow food hygiene, grooming, and safety standards at all times.
• Support banquet, event, and in-room dining service when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic computer skills (MS Office; knowledge of a PMS or front office software is a plus)
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to relocate to Ranchi and join at short notice (if applying from outside)
