Job summary

RK Road Transport Pvt. Ltd. in Raipur is seeking a General Manager – Own Fleet (Trucks) to take full ownership of a 500+ vehicle fleet and drive performance across dispatch, maintenance and fuel efficiency.

This senior, hands-on role requires strong leadership, deep cost controls, and expertise in GPS monitoring to optimize uptime and route profitability. The position is on-site in Raipur, with travel to route and site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in truck fleet operations/transport management.
• Strong Vehicle Monitoring & GPS tracking experience.
• Proven cost control ability across maintenance, tyres and fuel.
• Solid team management & leadership skills.
• Direct FTL trucking, mining logistics, or bulk transport experience preferred.
• Comfort owning hard numbers — uptime %, maintenance cost/km, tyre life, fuel efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Traffic & Dispatch, ensuring timely and optimal routing.
• Lead Driver Management, performance reviews and training.
• Drive Maintenance program, tyre management, and fuel efficiency measures.
• Own MIS & reporting to the Director with clear KPI tracking.
• Ensure fleet compliance, safety, and cost controls across the network.
• Coordinate with route/sites for on-site operations in Raipur.

RK Road Transport Pvt Ltd (RKRTPL) is looking for an experienced General Manager – Own Fleet (Trucks) to take full ownership of our 500+ vehicle Full Truck Load (FTL) fleet — 16-tyre 35MT rigid trucks/bulkers and 18-tyre 40MT bulkers/trailers.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role covering all six pillars of fleet performance:

• Traffic & Dispatch
• Driver Management
• Maintenance
• Tyre Management
• Diesel/Fuel Management
• MIS & Reporting to the Director

What we\'re looking for:

• 5–10 years in truck fleet operations/transport management
• Strong Vehicle Monitoring & GPS tracking experience
• Proven Cost Control ability across maintenance, tyres, and fuel
• Solid Team Management & Leadership skills

Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹90,000/month, negotiable based on experience and fleet scale managed
