Job summary

Pagaar India in Lucknow is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to plan, schedule and monitor daily movement of the commercial vehicle fleet across locations. You will optimise routes, manage maintenance schedules and supervise drivers and support staff to ensure disciplined, productive operations.

You will track fuel consumption and costs, ensure compliance with permits, insurance and safety norms, and report fleet performance to management.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; additional certification in logistics or transport management is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in fleet management, transport operations or logistics
• Strong understanding of route planning, fuel management and vehicle maintenance cycles
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of drivers and ground staff
• Good communication skills with a problem-solving and ownership-driven mindset
• Strong sense of ownership, integrity and accountability towards assigned responsibilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
