Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise furnace operations during the assigned shift.
• Monitor furnace charging, melting, alloying, temperature control, and skimming.
• Ensure safe molten-metal transfer and handling.
• Monitor furnace performance, production targets, and metal quality.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Maintain shift-wise production records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and housekeeping.
• Identify operational issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime.
