Job summary

Keka Inc. in Maharashtra is seeking an experienced technician to oversee foundry melting and pouring operations on the shop floor.

The role requires 2–3 years in foundry environments and a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, with a focus on safety, quality and production control.

You will lead shift activities, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, and generate daily reports while maintaining 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of foundry melting and pouring operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift manpower and allocate tasks efficiently.
• Prepare daily production, melting, pouring and shift reports.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production departments.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the melting area.
• Identify process issues and take corrective action.
• Ensure smooth shift handover with proper reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production, rejection and quality during the shift.
• Maintain proper safety and PPE practices in the melting area.
• Prepare daily production, melting, pouring and shift reports.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production departments.
• Ensure housekeeping and 5S in the melting area.
• Identify process issues and take immediate corrective action.
• Ensure smooth shift handover with proper reporting.
