Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a hands-on Foundry/Melting Operations professional for the Maharashtra location. The role requires 2–3 years of experience in foundry melting and pouring, with a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical.

You will supervise shifts, monitor furnace processes, and ensure safety and quality across melting activities. The candidate will manage reports, coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production, and uphold 5S in the melting area to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience in foundry melting and pouring operations.
• Knowledge of furnace operation, temperature control and safety norms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise furnace melting operations during the shift.
• Manage pouring activities per production and quality needs.
• Monitor furnace temperature and melting cycle.
• Ensure proper molten metal handling and pouring.
• Supervise shift manpower and allocation of work.
• Monitor production, rejection and quality during the shift.
• Maintain safety and PPE practices in the melting area.
• Prepare daily production, melting, pouring and shift reports.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping in the melting area.
• Identify issues and take corrective actions promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and supervise furnace melting operations during the shift.
• Manage pouring operations as per production and quality requirements.
• Monitor furnace temperature, melting cycle and material charging.
• Ensure proper handling of molten metal and pouring activities.
• Supervise shift manpower and allocate work effectively.
• Monitor production, rejection and quality during the shift.
• Maintain proper safety and PPE practices in the melting area.
• Prepare daily production, melting, pouring and shift reports.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production departments.
• Ensure housekeeping and 5S in the melting area.
• Identify process issues and take immediate corrective action.
• Ensure smooth shift handover with proper reporting.
