PSYC Aerospace & Defence Industries | Bangalore, India At PSYC Aerospace & Defence Industries, we are engineering the next generation of autonomous aerial and robotic systems across defence and advanced mobility domains. Our work spans UAVs, UGVs, and intelligent robotic platforms designed for high-performance, mission‑critical applications.

About the Role

As a member of the software engineering team, you will build scalable software systems and internal tools that support autonomous platforms and engineering workflows across frontend and backend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • Backend & Systems: Develop server‑side logic, databases, and APIs; ensure performance, scalability, and reliability; work with RESTful services and microservices architectures.
  • Frontend Development: Build responsive and user‑friendly frontend interfaces; develop intuitive UI/UX for dashboards and internal tools; work with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) and ensure cross‑platform compatibility and performance.
  • Integration & Collaboration: Integrate software with ML models, data pipelines, and backend systems; work closely with cross‑functional teams (systems, embedded, ML); support rapid development and deployment cycles.
  • Testing & Deployment: Implement testing, debugging, performance optimization; support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows; monitor and improve system performance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with data‑driven applications or ML‑integrated systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience building internal tools or developer platforms.
  • Interest in UAVs, robotics, or autonomous systems.
