We are seeking an Avionics Technician to support the integration, testing, and maintenance of avionics systems for unmanned platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong practical skills in electronics, system integration, and troubleshooting within fast‑paced development environments.
Avionics Integration & Assembly
- Assemble and integrate avionics components including flight controllers, GPS modules, ESCs, sensors, and communication systems
- Perform wiring, soldering, harnessing, and connector terminations
- Ensure proper routing, shielding, and securing of electrical systems
Testing & Troubleshooting
- Conduct system‑level testing and validation of avionics systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, communication, and system‑level issues
- Support calibration and configuration of flight control systems
Prototype & Field Support
- Assist in prototype builds and full system integration
- Support ground testing and flight test operations
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and pre/post‑flight system checks
Documentation & Quality
- Maintain build logs, test reports, and technical documentation
- Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and engineering guidelines
- Ensure consistency and reliability in system assembly and integration
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with mechanical, embedded, and systems engineering teams
- Support iterative development and rapid prototyping cycles
- Adapt to fast‑paced testing and deployment environments
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Avionics, Electrical, or related field
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and wiring systems
- Hands‑on experience with soldering, crimping, and electrical tools
- Familiarity with UAV systems, flight controllers, and onboard electronics
- Basic understanding of communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with UAVs, drones, or robotics platforms
- Knowledge of PX4 / Ardupilot or similar flight stacks
- Exposure to RF systems, telemetry, and antenna integration
- Experience in system testing, debugging, and field operations
