Job summary

3i Infotech seeks a Desktop Support Field Engineer to provide on-site incident resolution and hardware/software support across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Own vehicle is mandatory; client will provide conveyance.

You will perform diagnostics, OS imaging, peripheral setup, and local LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting under the IT team. Responsibilities include incident resolution, hardware lifecycle, system support, and configuring printers/scanners/VoIP equipment at client sites.

Qualifications

• Incident resolution at on-site locations for hardware, network, and peripherals.
• Hardware diagnostics, minor repairs, imaging, and coordinating warranty claims.
• Troubleshoot client-side software, user profiles, and local patch management as directed by IT.
• Configure and troubleshoot local office equipment including printers, scanners, and VoIP/telephony.

Responsibilities

• Incident resolution: provide mandatory on-site support for Tier 1/2 incidents requiring physical presence.
• Hardware lifecycle: diagnostics, minor repairs, component replacement, OS imaging, warranty claims coordination.
• System support: troubleshoot client-side software, user profiles, and patch management as directed.
• Peripheral support: configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and VoIP devices at local offices.

• Incident Resolution:The Engineer will provide mandatory, dedicated on-site supportfor all local incidents (Tier 1/2) that require physical presence, including hardware faults, network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi), and peripherals support.
• Hardware Lifecycle:Services include performing diagnostics, minor repairs, component replacement, Operating System reload/imaging, and coordinating warranty claims and asset disposition with the central Assets Team.
• System Support:The Engineer will troubleshoot client-side software and application issues, resolve user profile problems, and assist with local patch management as directed by the central IT team.
• Peripheral Support:The Engineer is responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of local office equipment, including printers, scanners, and VoIP/telephony systems.
