Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Generate leads through customer visits, networking, references, and market research.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Promote company products and identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
2. Customer Visits & Technical Support
- Conduct regular visits to customers, OEMs, manufacturers, and prospective accounts.
- Understand customer technical and commercial requirements.
- Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer applications.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.x
- Coordinate with customers for technical clarifications, samples, trials, and evaluations.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries.
3. Quotation & Order Management
- Prepare and submit quotations in coordination with the internal sales team.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Follow up on open quotations and convert enquiries into orders.
- Coordinate with operations, purchase, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Monitor outstanding payments and support the collection process when required.
4. Market Development
- Identify market trends, competitors, new applications, and potential customers.
- Develop new territories and market segments.
- Gather competitor and market intelligence and share regular updates with management.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, customer events, and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in systems.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly visit and sales reports.
- Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, customer meetings, and follow-ups.
- Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, forecast, and business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/BSC/Diploma degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
- 0 to 5 years of experience in technical sales / field sales / industrial sales preferred.
- Experience in B2B sales, industrial products, electronics, electrical components, semiconductors, automation, or related industries will be an advantage.
- Good technical understanding and ability to interpret customer requirements.
