Job summary

WESTERN DRUGS LIMITED in Mumbai is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist to manage end-to-end export processes, ensuring compliance with PO and LC terms. You will coordinate with factories, shipping lines, CHA and forwarders to secure gate-in, container handling, and timely bill of lading release, while keeping customers updated on schedules.

Candidates with 5+ years in manufacturing export roles and a Diploma in Export/Import Management are preferred; self-correspondence and proactive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with manufacturer exporters.
• Diploma in Export/Import Management preferred.
• Ability to handle self correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export documentation as per PO or LC.
• Submit reports for shipping bill closure with EDPMS/IDPMS.
• Ensure timely booking releases from shipping companies.
• Coordinate with factory, transporter, CHA for gate-in of containers and bill of lading release.
• Provide customers with shipment updates and email non-negotiable documents.
• Process export commissions to overseas agents.
• Knowledge of Advance Authorization and imports is a plus.

Role & responsibilities

• Export Documentation as per Purchase Order or Letter of Credit
• Lodgment with bank for shipping bill closure i.e.. EDPMS/IDPMS
• Timely release of Booking from Shipping cos./Forwarders
• Co-ordination with Factory, Transporter, CHA, for gate in of containers or carting of goods. as well as timely release of Bill of Lading from shipping companies.
• Giving timely updates to customers on shipment schedule as well as sending non-negotiable documents on email.
• Release of Export Commission to overseas agent.
• Knowledge of Advance Authorisation application, utilisation as well as Imports will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates with 5+ years of work experience with manufacturer Exporters shall be preferred.
• Candidates who have done Diploma course in Export/Import Management shall be preferred.
• Able to do self correspondence.
