Job summary

Star India Container Line in Indore is seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle end-to-end export and import operations. The role requires knowledge of shipping documents, vessel scheduling, and coordination with shippers and CHA for clearance.

The candidate should be a graduate with strong English communication skills and good computer literacy to manage bookings, documentation, and BL issuance efficiently.

Qualifications

• Export/Import procedures knowledge.
• Good English communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency in basic computer tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Well aware with Export and Import procedure.
• Well aware with the list of document required in export and Import shipment.
• Place the Booking on shipping lines web as per the line procedure.
• Follow up with Ops team for checking the container, to make the gate pass for stuffing & follow up with concor for timely placement.
• Coordinate with shipper and CHA for smooth clearance.
• File the VGM, Form -11 and form 13, timely for gate in the container at load port.
• Provide DSR on daily basis to shipper and update shipment status. Confirm vessel planning to shipper along with routing & transit time.
• Coordinate with shipper for BL draft along with released document for SI filling.
• Follow up with S/line for 1st print and get approval from shipper then timely release of Bill of Lading as per shipper requirement.
• Timely handover of BL to shipper with relevant document.
• Certification such as Health, phyto, Fumigation, COO etc.

• Timely handover of BL to shipper with relevant document.
• Certification such as ;- Health , phyto , Fumigation , COO etc ..

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should be computer literate, good command on English in oral & Written, minimum qualification graduate.

Candidate should have thorough knowledge of Export and import.
