Job summary

SAMSARA SHIPPING in Mumbai is seeking a Graduate with experience in Export/Import documentation to monitor the end-to-end shipment cycle. The role requires strong coordination across departments to maintain top-tier customer satisfaction and adherence to Principal guidelines.

You will identify sales leads, conceptualise efficient documentation processes, and guide staff to ensure fast, error-free execution and minimal claims. Independent communication with Principals is essential.

Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

Candidate should be a Graduate with adequate experience in Export / Import Documentation activities of a shipping line/ Agency/ Forwarding.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and keeping track of pre-shipment to post shipment until arrival at destination.

Should coordinate effectively with all departments & ensure customer satisfaction is at the highest levels.

Candidate will be responsible to conceptualise and put in place Documentation processes and systems, which is error free and fast, to the satisfaction of the Company, Principals and Customers with special emphasis on avoidance of claims.

Will be also responsible for implementation of procedures as per the Principal guidelines for the execution of the Export / Import documentation cycle whilst safeguarding the interests of the company and ensure all compliances by the customer.

Candidate should possess good communication skills and leadership qualities to guide his staff. Must be able to independently correspond and communicate with Principals.
