MIS Executive Solar Rooftop, you will play a crucial role in managing, consolidating, analysing, and reporting operational data related to solar rooftop systems. Your primary responsibility will be to collect and validate data from service, cleaning, installation, maintenance, and project teams; prepare accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports; monitor key performance indicators such as site progress, cleaning activities, service complaints, faults, manpower productivity, and CUF; and develop dashboards to support management decision-making. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate databases, tracking pending and overdue activities, identifying performance gaps, coordinating with various teams for data updates, and ensuring timely and reliable reporting while upholding the company's commitment to operational excellence, data accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
JD:
1.Data Management & Consolidation
- Collect daily, weekly, and monthly data from service, cleaning, installation, and project teams.
- Consolidate data related to solar rooftop maintenance, cleaning activities, site progress, installation capacity, service complaints, faults, and material procurement.
- Validate data received from different teams and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain structured databases and records for all rooftop solar activities.
- Track pending, completed, and overdue activities.
2. MIS & Daily Reporting
- Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports within defined timelines.
- Prepare daily reports covering:
- Site visits and activities completed
- Solar rooftop cleaning status
- Maintenance activities
- Service complaints and fault status
- Installation/site progress
- Manpower deployment
- Material requirements and procurement status
- Maintain historical MIS data for trend analysis and management review.
3. Performance Reports & Dashboards
- Prepare performance reports and executive dashboards for the service and cleaning teams.
- Develop dashboards to monitor:
- Total installation capacity
- Site-wise progress
- Cleaning completion
- Maintenance activities
- Service complaints
- Faults and breakdowns
- Complaint closure/TAT
- Manpower productivity
- Project timelines
- Highlight major gaps, delays, and deviations to management.
4. CUF & Solar Plant Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and record CUF (Capacity Utilization Factor) on a daily basis for applicable rooftop solar plants.
- Compare actual generation/performance against expected generation.
- Identify abnormal variations and coordinate with the concerned service/O&M team for investigation.
- Maintain daily and monthly CUF performance records and trend reports.
Deliverables:
- Manage and maintain accurate MIS data for 8,200+ existing installed solar rooftop systems and support reporting for approximately 12,000 additional systems planned for installation.
- Ensure 100% timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for service, cleaning, maintenance, installation, and project activities.
- Maintain 95%+ data accuracy and completeness across all operational MIS, trackers, and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain a centralized database covering installed systems, upcoming installations, site progress, cleaning, maintenance, complaints, faults, manpower, and material requirements.
- Ensure 100% daily/weekly tracking of installation progress against planned targets for the upcoming 12,000 systems.
- Monitor site-wise and project-wise planned vs. actual installation progress and highlight delays or deviations to management.
- Maintain a comprehensive service complaint dashboard covering complaint registration, attendance, closure, pending cases, aging, and TAT for the installed base.
- Track cleaning and maintenance activities across the installed systems and provide regular performance reports.
- Monitor daily CUF and solar generation performance for applicable rooftop plants and highlight abnormal variations to the concerned team.
- Develop and maintain management dashboards covering installation capacity, system count, service performance, cleaning progress, CUF, manpower productivity, complaints, and project timelines.
- Track manpower deployment and productivity across service, cleaning, installation, and project teams and highlight gaps against planned requirements.
- Maintain accurate material requirement and procurement MIS, including requisition, procurement, dispatch, receipt, utilization, and critical shortages.
- Prepare monthly KPI performance reports for service, cleaning, installation, and project teams and highlight key performance gaps.
- Ensure 100% timely escalation of critical delays, overdue complaints, data gaps, and operational deviations to the concerned management team.
- Implement at least 23 MIS automation/process improvement initiatives during the year to reduce manual reporting, improve data accuracy, and enhance management visibility.
- Maintain proper historical data and trend analysis to support manpower planning, service planning, cleaning schedules, material planning, and future project requirements.
- Support management with accurate, timely, and data-driven reports for effectively managing the existing 8,200 systems and planned expansion of approximately 12,000 additional systems.
Technical Must have Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF formulas, charts, filters, and data validation.
- Strong knowledge of MIS preparation, data consolidation, data analysis, and dashboard development.
- Good understanding of solar rooftop PV systems, including modules, inverters, generation, CUF, cleaning, maintenance, and service activities.
- Ability to manage and analyze large datasets for 8,200+ existing systems and approximately 12,000 upcoming installations.
- Strong skills in planned vs. actual project tracking, site progress monitoring, and installation capacity reporting.
- Ability to track and analyze service complaints, TAT, aging, pending cases, fault status, and closure performance.
- Knowledge of daily CUF and solar generation monitoring and identification of abnormal performance.
- Ability to prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and management MIS reports within defined timelines.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence/dashboard tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to develop and maintain interactive dashboards, trackers, and automated MIS reports.
- Knowledge of KPI tracking, productivity analysis, performance monitoring, and trend analysis.
- Ability to consolidate data related to cleaning, maintenance, installation, manpower, material procurement, and service operations.
- Strong data validation and reconciliation skills to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports.
- Knowledge of data visualization and management presentation for highlighting key trends and performance gaps.
- Ability to identify data discrepancies, operational gaps, delays, and critical deviations and elevate them to management.
- Good knowledge of digital reporting tools, cloud-based data management, and mobile applications.
- Good command of Telugu, English, and Hindi, including speaking, reading, and writing.
Education :
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in B.Com, BBA, B.Sc., BCA, BE/B. Tech, or any other relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates with a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field will be preferred.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in MIS, data management, reporting, or dashboard preparation; experience in the solar/renewable energy industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Power BI or other reporting/dashboard tools is preferred.
- Candidates should have good Telugu, English, and Hindi communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Candidates should have strong analytical, numerical, documentation, and data-management skills.
