Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking an experienced O&M professional to lead and supervise solar PV operations in Delhi. You will monitor projects, coordinate with analytics, manage vendors and records, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 10–12 years in Solar PV, a BE/B.Tech or Diploma, strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to drive maintenance programs and KPI improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor allocated projects using SCADA, data monitoring platforms, and diagnostic tools.
  • Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants (rooftop and utility-scale) per schedule.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues to maximize plant generation.
  • Maintain breakdown sheets, complaint registers, and maintenance sheets for analytics.
  • Coordinate with analytics team to track KPIs such as availability and generation.
  • Maintain vendor records and coordinate invoice submissions.
  • Follow up with customers for timely payments.
  • Conduct O&M audits before handover and share punch points.
  • Maintain maintenance activity records and performance logs.
  • Supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance.
  • Update customer complaint registers daily and track closures.
  • Ensure IMS adherence across projects.
  • Create weekly trackers for inverter, sensor, module failures.
  • Manage spares inventory and conduct routine inspections.
  • Plan preventive and corrective maintenance of modules, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.

Job description

ROLE
  • – Monitor allocated projects using SCADA, data monitoring platforms, and diagnostic tools, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and grid regulations.
  • – Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants, including rooftop and utility‑scale projects, according to schedule.
  • – Identify and resolve performance issues to maximize plant generation.
  • – Maintain breakdown sheets, customer complaint registers, and module cleaning sheets for data analytics.
  • – Coordinate with the analytics team to track KPIs such as PR, plant availability, and generation guarantee.
  • – Maintain all vendor records, handle vendor queries, and coordinate invoice submissions.
  • – Follow up with customers for payment collection.
  • – Conduct O&M audits before project handover and share punch points.
  • – Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and performance logs.
  • – Supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
  • – Update customer complaint registers daily and track closure against target dates.
  • – Ensure IMS adherence across projects.
  • – Create and maintain weekly trackers for failures related to inverters, sensors, modules, and other equipment.
  • – Manage spares and maintain inventory records.
  • – Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and plan corrective actions in advance.
  • – Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and warranty claims, including planning for equipment extended warranties.
  • – Manage spare parts inventory, ensure timely replacements, and conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
  • – Plan preventive and corrective maintenance of solar modules, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
REQUIREMENTS
  • – B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Renewable Energy.
  • – 10–12 years of experience in Solar PV, preferably in O&M.
  • – Technical coordination and report writing skills.
  • – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • – Strong ability to resolve site‑related technical issues within defined targets.
  • – Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • – Effective cross‑functional collaboration.
