Indus Projects is seeking a seasoned Planning Engineer to support construction projects in Visakhapatnam. You will analyze BOQ and GFC, plan resources, and prepare detailed monitoring manuals and reports.

The role focuses on budgeting, cost analysis, and coordinating with finance for forecasts. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in construction, experience with MSP (MS Project), and a civil qualification (B.Tech/B.E or Diploma).

Qualifications

• 5–7 yrs of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with MSP/MS Projects is required.
• B.Tech/B.E or Diploma in Civil is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BOQ and GFC drawings approved by client.
• Plan project progress, resources, and monitoring manuals with charts.
• Prepare budgets and conduct cost analyses for planning.
• Estimate quantities from drawings and perform rate analysis.
• Collaborate with project head and finance for forecasts and risk management.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain BOQ comparison with on-site measurements.
• Prepare correspondence with clients and vendors.
• Assist in financial and contractual forecasting for management.
• Maintain quality reports for client and reference.

Roles and Responsibilities

QS & Planning:

• Analyze BOQ and GFC (Good for Construction) drawing approved by client.
• Project planning, resource planning, preparation of project monitoring manuals, bar charts, pert charts progress reports.
• Preparing & Evaluation of budget planning & management.
• Estimating the quantities from approved drawings including cost analysis
• with respect to standard data (Rate Analysis).
• Work closely with project head & finance department to ensure forecast & risk management.
• Preparation of Daily, Weekly & Monthly work reports.
• Maintain the comparison statement with BOQ to On-site measurements.
• Maintaining & preparing correspondence documentation (For Clients, Office&
• Vendors).
• Assist in commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team.
• Maintaining Quality Reports for the client and as well as our reference.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must have 5 to 7 yrs of experience in the construction industry.

Should have experience working on MSP (MS Projects)

Should have B.tech/B.E/Diploma in civil qualification
