Job summary

R&R Infratech (india) is seeking a Planning Engineer for building and infrastructure projects in Jamnagar, Gujarat. You will develop and monitor detailed schedules using MSP, coordinate with multiple teams, and prepare progress reports to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Strong experience in construction planning and project controls.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in planning and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MSP.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, weekly and monthly progress schedules.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress and identify delays and critical activities.
• Coordinate with project, construction, procurement, MEP and subcontractor teams for timely execution.
• Track progress of civil, finishing and related works.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
• Prepare progress dashboards and management reports using MS Excel.
• Update schedules based on site progress and prepare revised/recovery schedules.
• Monitor milestones and critical path activities.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to collect progress data.
• Identify schedule risks and highlight potential delays to the Project Manager.

*Planning Engineer – Building & Infrastructure Projects*

Experience

• *5–8 years* of relevant experience in planning and project controls for building and infrastructure projects.

• * Candidates with strong experience in construction planning and project controls will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• * Prepare, develop and maintain detailed project schedules using *MS Project (MSP)*.
• * Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, weekly and monthly progress schedules.
• * Monitor planned vs. actual progress and identify delays, slippages and critical activities.
• * Coordinate with project, construction, procurement, MEP and subcontractor teams for timely execution.
• * Track progress of building and infrastructure works including civil, finishing and related activities.
• * Prepare *Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports*.
• * Prepare progress monitoring dashboards and management reports using *MS Excel*.
• * Update schedules based on actual site progress and prepare revised/recovery schedules wherever required.
• * Monitor project milestones, key deliverables and critical path activities.
• * Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to collect accurate progress data.
• * Identify schedule risks and highlight potential delays to the Project Manager/Project Head.
• * Assist in preparation of work programs, resource requirements and manpower deployment plans.
• * Maintain records of quantities, productivity, progress and project milestones.
• * Prepare presentations and reports for project review meetings.
• * Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams regarding planning and progress matters.

Required Technical Skills

• *MS Project (MSP): Excellent proficiency*
• *MS Excel: Excellent proficiency*, including formulas, progress tracking and reporting.
• *AutoCAD: Good proficiency* for reviewing drawings and understanding project requirements.
• * Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodology and project scheduling.
• * Good knowledge of *critical path, baseline, float, delay analysis and progress monitoring*.
• * Ability to prepare and interpret construction schedules and project reports.

Preferred Experience

Experience in *high-rise buildings, residential/commercial projects, infrastructure projects, finishing works and MEP coordination* will be an advantage.
