Job summary

Mythri Builders is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for Project Controls to manage cost, scheduling, and contracts on large-scale construction initiatives in Bengaluru. You will prepare BOQs, take-offs, budgets, monitor costs, track progress with Primavera P6/MS Project, and ensure timely delivery through proactive recovery plans and stakeholder coordination.

Strong Excel and AutoCAD skills, contract management knowledge, and excellent analytical communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent with 5–10 years in QS, planning or project controls.
• Expertise in BOQ, quantity take-off, estimation, rate analysis, budgeting, cost control, and contractor billing.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project for scheduling, baseline planning, progress tracking, and delay analysis.
• Knowledge of contract management, variations, claims, cash flow, resource planning, and project cost monitoring.
• MS Excel and AutoCAD proficiency; experience in progress reports, dashboards, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills; experience across residential, commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project budgets based on approved drawings.
• Review contractor/subcontractor bills, manage work orders, subcontract agreements, and variation claims.
• Monitor project costs, material consumption, cash flow, and ensure budget compliance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Track project progress, analyze schedule variances, and implement recovery plans to meet milestones.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and management updates.
• Monitor resource allocation, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with project management, site, procurement, design, QA/QC, and MEP teams for smooth execution.
• Maintain project documentation, contractual records, and ensure compliance with specifications and contracts.
• Identify project risks related to cost and schedule, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support timely project completion by ensuring cost efficiency, schedule adherence, quality standards and successful delivery.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for project scheduling, baseline planning, progress tracking, and delay analysis.


• Good knowledge of contract management, variations, claims, cash flow, resource planning, and project cost monitoring.


• Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD, with experience in progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and project documentation.
