Job summary

A leading engineering firm is looking for an experienced Engineer/Manager in Sales & Service for Lubricants in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering and 3-5 years of industrial sales experience, particularly in lubricants or coolants. Key responsibilities include lead generation, customer presentations, and meeting sales targets. Proficiency in Tamil and English is essential. This position requires regular travel to meet customers in Tamil Nadu, Andhra, and Karnataka.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in industrial sales, preferably in lubricants or coolants.
• Good command over spoken and written English and Tamil.
• Ability to travel and meet customers regularly.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and manage product presentations.
• Prepare commercial and technical proposals.
• Meet sales and collection targets in the assigned territory.
• Conduct trials and demonstrations at customer sites; provide manufacturing solutions.
• Maintain relationships with customers and perform regular visits in Tamil Nadu and neighboring states.
• Coordinate with MD and sales team; support pre-sales and troubleshooting activities.

Engineer / Manager - Sales & Service (for Lubricants)

• Experience in manufacturing industries & Heavy Industries segment.
  
• Experience in selling industrial products likeLubricants, Coolants & Metal Working fluids.
  
• Should have sound technical and commercial knowledge.
  
• Will have to work as a team and increase sales as per the company's goal.
  
• He will be responsible for lead generation, product presentation, demonstration, estimation, o rder management, payment collections & customer service
• Meeting sales & collection targets in assigned territory, Shall be responsible for the P&L for the product group assigned.
  
• He will be reporting to the Managing Director and coordinating with other sales team members.
  
• Preparing commercial and technical proposals.
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machines
  
• Ability to conduct commercial negotiations with goodTechno-Commercial skills
  
• Good command over spoken and written English and Tamil
  
• Conducting trials & demonstrations at customer machines and providing the right manufacturing solutions to the customers.

• Ability to Travel & Meet customers regularly in the assigned region (Tamilnadu, Andhra, Karnataka)
  
• Basic IT system knowledge, Email communication, Excel, CRM & Quotation preparation.
