Job summary

A manufacturing company in Chennai is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive industrial sales. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in sales of industrial products like adhesives and cutting tools. Responsibilities include lead generation, sales presentations, and maintaining customer relationships. Strong technical and commercial knowledge is essential, along with fluency in Tamil and English. Regular travel within Tamil Nadu and adjoining states is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Industrial sales, preferably in Adhesives & Tapes.
• Fluent in Tamil & English - Read/Write/Speak.
• Willingness to travel and meet customers regularly.

Job description

• The candidate isexpected to work with a set of manufacturing industries in Chennai.
• He should haveexperience in selling industrial either products like IndustrialAdhesives/cutting tool,Godrejinterio,Material Handling(Forklift),Warehouse,Personal protection equipment,Industriallubricants,Industrial lighting systems.
• Should have soundtechnical and commercial knowledge.
• Will have to work asa team and increase sales as per the company's goal.
• He will beresponsible for lead generation, product presentation,demonstration, estimation & closing of sales for Productsassigned, including
• Meeting sales &collection targets in assigned territory, Shall be responsiblefor the P&L for the product group assigned.
• He will be reportingto the Managing Director and coordinating with other salesteam members.
• Preparing commercialand technical proposals.
• Knowledge ofmanufacturing processes and machines
• Ability to conductcommercial negotiations with goodTechno-Commercial skills
• Good command overspoken and written English and Tamil
• Conducting trials& demonstrations at customer machines and providing theright manufacturing solutions to the customers.
• Maintaining relationswith customers and conduction customer presentations.
• Visiting Customersregularly. Participate in Pre-Sales and Trouble Shooting activities.
  

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
  
• 3-5 years experience in Industrial sales, preferablyinAdhesives & Tapes
  
• Fluent in Tamil & English - Read/Write/Speak (Fluency inHindi, Kannda, Telugu is added advantage)
  
• To be based in below locations - ChennaiHosur/Bangalore
  
• Ability to Travel & Meet customers regularly in theassigned region (Tamilnadu, Andhra, Karnataka)
  
• Basic IT system (ZOHO) knowledge, Email communication,Excel, CRM & Quotation preparation.
