Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., seeks a Dy. Manager - Supplychain Planning & Logistics in Kolkata DC to lead end-to-end warehouse operations through a logistics service provider.

The role requires BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering with MBA/PGDM in supply chain management, 5–6 years in switchgear/electrical sectors, and hands-on experience with SAP MM and WMS; strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations through Logistics Service Providers.
• Maintain FG stock and manage SLAs of service providers for DC activities.
• Investigate customer complaints for shortages, wrong supply, or transit damages; close within target days.
• Coordinate with sales for regular/urgent air despatches and track premium freight.
• Coordinate with sales/customers and channel finance for end-to-end sales returns clearance.
• Coordinate for stock clearance, block stock salvaging, and related SOP-guided tasks.
• Handle branch requirements for settling insurance claims.
• Coordinate with Return Material Stores for scrap disposal from stock cleansings.
• Prepare reports and analyze data as required.

Position: Dy. Manager - Supplychain Planning & Logistics

Location: Kolkata DC

Summary of Role: Managing end to end warehouse operation through Logistics service Provider

Key Responsibilities: (Plant 1518 ESP & Plant 1554 DSP)

• As a warehouse in charge, day to day co-ordination with customers/branches/DC/ transporters for dispatch tracking, resolving customer queries, transport related issues, taking necessary action in line with superiors’ guidance.
• Maintaining healthy FG, managing SLAs of service providers for effective management of DC activities.
• Investigating customer complaints for shortage, wrong supply, transit damages, ensuring closure of complaints as per target days.
• Co-ordination with sales team for regular, urgent, air despatches. Maintaining records of premium freight by Air/ Special vehicles.
• Co-ordinating with sales/customers and channel finance, for clearing customer sales return end to end.
• Executing, co-ordinating for special assignments, like stock clearing, block stock salvaging, NMSM salvaging, in line with superiors’ guidance/ SOPs as per targets.
• Handling branch requirements for settling insurance claims.
• Co-ordinating with Return Material Stores for scrap disposal generated thru stock cleansings and block stock salvaging.
• Report and Data analysing as per special assignments given by IS.l
• Working in WMS environment and basic knowledge on WMS.

Skills Needed

• Supply Chain Management wrt inbound and inventory management.
• Hand on Experience in SAP MM module. WMS ( warehouse Management System)
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Leadership and Communication skills.

Qualification: BE / B Tech in Electrical Engineering with MBA/PGDM in supply ChainManagement.

Experience: 5 to 6 Years in switchgear / Electronics/ Electrical Co.’s
