Job summary

Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. unit Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation in Mahape seeks an engineer with BE/B Tech in Electrical or Electronics and 2–4 years of experience in electrical switchgear and switchboard assembly.

You will prepare engineering drawings and configure SAP components to release material for manufacturing. The role emphasizes cost reduction, standardization, and independent task ownership.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics from a recognised institute.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical switchgear.
• Location: Mahape, India.

Responsibilities

• Good understanding in Electrical Switchgears and switchboards; experience with Low Voltage Switchgear and switchgear assembly.
• Prepare General Arrangement, BOM, Schematics, and Single Line Diagrams from client documents/specifications.
• Configuring electrical components in SAP to release material to manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge of switchgear products and protection relays.
• Attend technical meetings with customers for drawings approval.
• Suggest cost reductions and design standardization improvements.
• Take ownership of tasks and work independently.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

1. Good understanding in Electrical Switchgears and switchboards. Should have experience in handling Low Voltage Switchgear & switchgear assembly.
2. Knowledge of Engineering Drawings preparation like General Arrangement, Bill of Material, Schematics, Single Line Diagrams etc. based on client's feed documents & specifications.
3. Configuring electrical components in SAP to release the material to manufacturing.
4. Strong technical knowledge of switchgear product & protection relays
5. Attending technical meetings with the customers for drawings approval
6. Should take initiatives for cost reduction/design standardization/business process improvement
7. Must be able to take ownership of tasks and work independently

2. Techno-Commercial understanding of Competition product range.
3. Good knowledge of all related Customer within territory
4. Professionalism and Perseverance in the approach
5. Good communication & presentation skills. Good Hindi, English. Bengali preferable.
