Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited seeks an experienced quality professional in Chennai to drive quality planning for new products from concept to launch. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer, market, and quality requirements are incorporated throughout product development.

The role covers design inputs, validation, supplier quality, manufacturing readiness, and post-launch improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/Btech required.

Responsibilities

• Quality Planning for New Products from concept to launch, ensuring customer, market and quality requirements are met across product development.
• Quality & Reliability Target Achievement through benchmarking, validation and structured quality reviews.
• Design & Development Quality inputs during concept, drawing release and component development, including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans and PPAP.
• Product Validation & Issue Resolution: plan validation, identify quality concerns, drive root-cause analysis and close issues.
• Component & Supplier Quality: develop, validate and PPAP readiness with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Manufacturing & Production Readiness: assess plant build and production setup to meet quality requirements.
• New Product Launch Quality: ensure readiness for launch, FTR declaration and fix critical issues prior to market introduction.
• Post-Launch Quality & Customer Feedback: monitor field quality and customer feedback, drive corrective actions.

• New Product Launch Quality
  Ensure quality readiness for product launch, including First Time Right (FTR) declaration and closure of critical quality issues before market introduction.
• Post-Launch Quality & Customer Feedback
  Monitor field quality and customer feedback after launch, identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
