Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a Quality Management professional to maintain and continuously improve the QMS across the organization in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100.

The role focuses on developing and controlling quality procedures, coordinating internal and external audits, tracking KPIs, and driving CAPA and 8D processes to ensure compliance and excellence in product quality.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years experience in Quality Management Systems or MR role
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Lead/Internal Auditor preferred
• Knowledge of IATF Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, Control Plan) and quality tools

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 or applicable standards
• Develop, review, and control quality procedures, work instructions and documentation
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings
• Monitor compliance with quality requirements across all departments
• Lead root cause analysis using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D
• Track quality KPIs and prepare quality performance reports
• Manage NCRs, CAPA and preventive actions
• Provide QMS training and awareness programs to employees
• Ensure document and record control

Job description

1. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other applicable standards.
2. Develop, review, and control quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
3. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
4. Monitor compliance with quality requirements across all departments.
5. Facilitate Quality Review Meetings and track action items as per MOM.
6. Conduct gap assessments and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Support customer, supplier, and certification audits.
8. Track Quality KPIs and prepare quality performance reports.
10. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPA), and preventive actions.
11. Provide QMS-related training and awareness programs to employees.
12. Ensure document and record control processes are effectively maintained.
13. Lead root cause analysis activities using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D methodologies.

Experience

3 to 6 years experience in in Quality Management Systems or MR role

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
Certified Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor preferred.
