Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced shop floor professional to lead daily production targets and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor in a modern manufacturing facility located in Maharashtra.

The role requires 5–10 years of automotive industry experience and a BE/BTech or Diploma qualification, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/Diploma is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Daily Work Management: monitor manufacturing targets and priorities.
• Monitor BWT performance per PQCDSM and improve Basic Work Team performance.
• Ensure timely actions for internal/external customer concerns.
• Adherence to production schedule (Daily/Monthly).
• Follow training plan per matrix; upgrade skill levels.
• Conduct process audits and close Non-Conformances.
• Understand MQW/MQS/MAPS and apply their guidelines.
• Adhere to Quality Management systems: WSS, 5S, IPMS & QDMS.
• Identify scope for continual improvement in WSS, JH & 5S with safety.
• Shop Floor Management.
• Timely disposal of non-conforming products and scrap.
• Safety guideline compliance on the shop floor.
• Maintain strong relationships with PPC, Paintshop, BIW, PQA.
• Collaborative approach across other PU.
