Job summary

Beco in Mumbai is seeking a Distribution Planner to optimize warehouse-wise and channel-wise distribution, coordinating with Demand Planning, Sales, Warehousing and Logistics.

You will analyze sales and inventory data, monitor OTIF, and prepare MIS reports to support stock transfers and new product launches. The role demands strong Excel skills and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

2–4 years in Distribution or Inventory Planning or SCM.
Experience in FMCG, D2C, Retail, or E-commerce preferred.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Understanding of inventory and warehouse operations.
ERP/SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare warehouse-wise and channel-wise distribution plans based on demand and inventory availability.
Plan stock transfers and replenishment between warehouses to maintain optimum inventory.
Monitor stock availability, ageing, excess inventory, and stock-outs.
Coordinate with Demand Planning, Sales, Warehousing, and Logistics teams for smooth inventory movement.
Analyse sales and inventory data to identify distribution gaps and improve product availability.
Track dispatches, transfers, service levels, and OTIF performance.
Prepare regular MIS and reports related to distribution and inventory.
Support new product launches and promotional requirements from a distribution planning perspective.
