Job summary

Bharat Serums and Vaccines in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Executive - Distribution to drive demand and distribution planning, monitor KPIs, and deliver data-driven insights for supply chain performance.

You will collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Finance teams, prepare MIS reports, and support business reviews with accurate analytics and clear presentations.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Distribution MIS, Planning, Supply Chain Operations or PMO functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience with MIS reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Strong understanding of CFA operations, warehouse management practices, and related SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand planning and forecasting activities at CFA level to ensure accurate demand visibility and inventory optimization.
• Oversee distribution planning to maintain adequate stock availability across all CFA locations.
• Monitor and manage CFA performance through defined KPI tracking and reporting mechanisms.
• Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Finance teams for query resolution, compliance adherence, and process governance.
• Generate and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and business analytics using SAP, MS Office, and BI tools.
• Prepare management presentations and provide insights during business review meetings.
• Analyze critical supply chain metrics including: product expiry trends, saleable returns, secondary stock levels, sales performance, forecast accuracy.
• Evaluate stockist performance through analysis of credit history, purchasing patterns, payment behavior, and cheque bounce trends.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and actionable recommendations.

The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence, compliance, and data-driven decision-making within the pharmaceutical supply chain.
