Job summary

Dufry India Retail is seeking a Replenishment Planner to ensure optimal inventory availability across warehouses and stores while balancing inventory investment and service levels. The role oversees replenishment planning, stock monitoring, supplier coordination, and continuous process improvements in supply chain efficiency.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager / Planning Manager, you will collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams; monitor stock coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Replenishment Planning, or Demand Planning.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute replenishment plans to maintain targeted inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory positions, stock coverage, and replenishment parameters.
• Ensure timely replenishment to support customer demand and service targets.
• Review and optimize reorder points, safety stock, and replenishment frequencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams.
• Align replenishment plans with demand forecasts and business priorities.
• Monitor forecast accuracy impacts and adjust replenishment plans accordingly.
• Support S&OP processes with inventory and supply insights.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Track supplier performance metrics including lead times and fill rates.
• Provide inventory risk communications and corrective actions to stakeholders.
• Analyze inventory trends and generate replenishment reports for management.

Role & responsibilities

Inventory & Replenishment Planning

• Develop and execute replenishment plans to maintain targeted inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory positions, stock coverage, and replenishment parameters.
• Ensure timely replenishment of products to support customer demand and service-level targets.
• Review and optimize reorder points, safety stock levels, and replenishment frequencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolescence.

Demand & Supply Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Work with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inbound inventory flow.
• Communicate inventory risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to stakeholders.

Inventory Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze inventory trends, product availability, and working capital performance.
• Generate replenishment and inventory reports for management review.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, stock availability, fill rate, and service levels.
• Provide recommendations for inventory optimization and cost reduction.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive initiatives to improve replenishment efficiency and planning accuracy.
• Support implementation and enhancement of planning systems, tools, and processes.
• Participate in supply chain transformation and digitalization projects.
• Ensure adherence to inventory management policies and planning standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, Replenishment Planning, or Demand Planning.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Distribution environments preferred.
• Experience working with ERP and planning systems.
