JobItUs in Mundra – Kutch region is seeking a Dispatch Officer with 2-7 years of dispatch/logistics experience to ensure timely domestic and export shipments. You will coordinate with Production, QC and Marketing to ensure correct labels, documents, and compliance.

Responsibilities include handling customer complaints, arranging transport, quoting for vehicles, and ensuring excise documentation is prepared per norms. Strong planning and people-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation is mandatory.
• 2-7 years of dispatch/logistics experience required.
• Proficient in coordinating with production, QC and marketing teams.
• Familiar with excise documents and shipping compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely dispatch of domestic and export finished products with correct labels and documents.
• Attend to customer complaints regarding labels or documents and investigate root causes.
• Prioritise dispatches, plan routes and allocate manpower for urgent consignments.
• Coordinate with Marketing on PO, road permit and transport quotes.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and arrange transport on predetermined routes.
• Ensure compliance to checklists and excise norms for each consignment.
• Train workers in safe handling, labelling and storage of consignments.
• Review sales orders for destination, dispatch date, taxes and duties.

Position: Dispatch Officer

Location: Mundra - Kutch

Experience: 2- 7 Years

Industries Chemical - MNC

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely dispatch of both domestic and export finished products to the customers in coordination with the Production, QC and Marketing departments
• with the correct labels and documents
• Attend to customer complaints received through the Marketing department on incorrect/absence of labels, inappropriate/absence of documents, leakages etc.
• Also investigate the matter to find out the root cause and take corrective action & put preventive measures in place
• Prioritise dispatches, plan routes and allocate manpower on urgent/last moment consignments
• Coordinate with the Marketing department on PO, road permit and customer related issues and mail them the quotes for transport vehicles
• Obtain quotes from vendors on predetermined routes and accordingly arrange for transport of goods
• Refer to the checklist prior to dispatch and ensure the consignment’s compliance to the set norms
• Ensure that statutory documents such as excise documents invoices, ARE 1 & 3 are
• properly prepared as per the excise norms for each consignment
• Train workmen in the safe handling of consignment, labelling of containers and storage
• Review sales orders with respect to destination, dispatch date, delivery date, applicable taxes and duties
• Track vehicles after dispatch
• Give direct instructions to contract workers relating to loading & unloading of consignments
• Prepare invoice for export, domestic goods and scrap
