Job summary

SHI in Mumbai area is seeking a Desktop Support specialist to provide Level 1 support for hardware, software and network issues. You will troubleshoot printers and perform remote assistance for users across different time zones. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of desktop/IT support experience, solid Windows OS knowledge, basic TCP/IP and WiFi concepts, and strong communication skills to work independently.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of desktop support or IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP and WiFi.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 desktop support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve printer-related issues using various print management tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1+year of experience in Desktop Support or It Support role.
  
• Strong understanding of Windows operating system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols and WiFi configurations.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent communication skills.
