Job summary

GTPL Hathway is seeking a skilled IT Network Support technician to troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, manage network switches, and maintain IT equipment across sites. The role involves configuring Office 365, Windows desktops, and standard productivity tools while ensuring reliable connectivity and user support.

The ideal candidate will have ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in IT/CS, strong networking knowledge, and hands-on experience with FortiGate and Office apps. On-site work in Gujarat is expected.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma or B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science is required.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, switches, and network basics.
• Experience with Windows desktops and Office applications is essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems on LAN/WAN protocols and network devices.
• Experience with managed and unmanaged network switches.
• Monitor network health using appropriate tools and dashboards.
• Diagnose problems and perform routine maintenance on desktops and laptops.
• Install and maintain IT equipment cabling and workstation hardware.
• Configure MS Office 365 and Office applications; manage user accounts and permissions.
• Understand switch, patch panel, and node connections within the network.
• Knowledge of FortiGate firewalls; basic UTMs and security concepts.
• Work with wireless technologies and mail clients (Outlook, Thunderbird).
• Apply TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, UDP concepts in day-to-day tasks.
• Take ownership of problem resolution, reproduction, and escalation.
• Assist with live streaming setups and on-field events as needed.

• Troubleshoot problems on LAN WAN protocol.
• Experience of managed unmanaged Network Switches.
• Experience on Monitoring tool like Network device health monitoring.
• Diagnostics of Problems Issues Defects Installation and routine maintenance of desktop, notebook, smartphone, and tablet devices.
• Installation and maintenance of IT equipment cabling.
• Good technical knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to remotely troubleshoot issues backup scheduling Install, configure and maintain workstation computers and other related hardware.
• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of MS Office 365 and Office suite applications.
• Understanding of and ability to install, configure and test workstation hardware Administration, including add remove users and groups, configure file permissions Understanding of relationship between switches, patch panels and connecting nodes to a network.
• Basics Knowledge on Firewalls UTMs like - FortiGate .
• Working Knowledge with Wireless Technologies Configuring and Managing Mail clients Like - Outlook, Thunderbirds etc.
• Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, FTP,UDP.

• Live Streaming and On field live setup for any event live on channel.
