Job summary

Sigma Engineered Solutions in Pune seeks a Deputy Manager Stores to oversee all store functions across multiple locations. You will ensure accurate receipt, proper storage and timely production material issuance, while maintaining 5S, safety, and scrap disposal controls.

The candidate should have 10–12 years in stores within automobile, engineering or manufacturing sectors, with strong team leadership and learning agility. Based at Chakan plants and office facilities in Pune.

Qualifications

• M.Com or B.Com or BSc; Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management desirable.
• 10–12 years of experience in stores in automobile/engineering/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for multilocational store function.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and 100% accuracy in material receipt and timely GRNs.
• Ensure proper storage, preservation, FIFO, and scrap disposal; monitor shortages.

Job Objective

Overall Management of Store from Receipt , Storage & Issue of all materials RM. Pkg. material Component Maintenance spares. Proper Storage and Preservation. Vehicle management. Subcontracting of material & Reconciliation.

Key Role & Responsibilities

OVERALL RESPONSIBLE FOR MULTILOCATION STORE FUNCTION. MAINTAIN 5S, SAFETY, IN STORE 100% ACCURACY IN MATERIAL RECEIPT & TIMELY GRNS, ENSURE PROPER STORAGE & PRESERVATION & TIMELY MTL. ISSUE TO PRODUCTION, SHORTAGE MONITORING.100% STOCK ACCURACY.ENSURE FIFO. / SHELF LIFE OF ITEM ESTABLISH CONTROL OVER SCRAP MOVEMENT & TIMELY DISPOSAL OF SCRAP MTL. HANDLING SUBCONTRCTING ACTIVITIES AND MONTHLY RECO. STATUTORY AUDIT COMPLIANCE)

Qualification & Experience Required

M.com. B.COM. Bsc. Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management desirable. 10~12 years Experience in the Stores of Automobile/Engineering/ Manufacturing Industry
