Job summary

DMW CNC Solutions in Coimbatore seeks an experienced Stores Inventory Manager to oversee day-to-day stores activities, verify incoming materials, and maintain ERP-based records. The role emphasizes accuracy, FIFO practices, and cross-functional coordination in a manufacturing setup.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in stores operations, ERP experience, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to ensure material availability for production.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience in stores operations, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in handling raw materials, spare parts, and production-related inventory.
• Experience with ERP systems is desirable.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Excel and data-driven decision making.
• Strong communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the stores.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and documentation against purchase orders.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and preservation of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely issue of materials to production and other departments.
• Implement FIFO practices wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality.
• Ensure proper documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
• Prepare and submit inventory and stores-related reports to management.
• Monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy and material availability.
