Role Description

The Delegate Acquisition role is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane. The delegate acquisition specialist will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential delegates for B2B events, building targeted contact lists, and managing outreach via phone, email, and digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include explaining event value propositions, handling queries, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and achieving attendance and registration targets. The role involves close collaboration with marketing and event teams to align delegate profiles with event objectives and to support overall event success. The position requires consistent follow-up, relationship-building, and a professional approach to communication with senior-level professionals and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with business stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Experience in inside sales, delegate acquisition, telesales, or business development for events, conferences, or B2B services.
• Ability to conduct basic research on industries and organizations to identify relevant target audiences and build contact databases.
• Comfort with using CRM systems, spreadsheets, email platforms, and calling tools to manage outreach and track progress.
• Goal-oriented mindset with proven ability to meet or exceed registration and attendance targets within defined timelines.
