Job summary

Toyota Material Handling India is seeking an Engineer for on-site service in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The candidate will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues at customer sites, and drive parts/service business within the territory.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile or Mechatronics Engineering with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience. Travel and a valid driving license are expected, with English and Tamil language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Keep Territory Service Manager updated on critical customer issues.
• Provide daily/weekly progress reports on tasks and customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• The candidate should have hands on experience of working at customer site in MHE / Industrial Equipment / Automotive / Construction & Mining Equipment.
• Must be able to resolve Technical issues in Mechanical, Electrics and Hydraulics troubleshooting at Customer site in the defined target time.
• Must be able to Generate & manage Parts and service business in the assigned area / Customer base.
• Keep the Territory Service Manager updated regarding critical issues faced by customer.
• Daily / Weekly reporting to TSM on the progress of tasks assigned for the assigned area / customer base.

• Must have good Communication and Customer Handling Skill

Essential Qualification

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Mechatronics Engineering

Experience: 3-5 Years post Qualification

Must be willing to Travel and should have valid 4 Wheeler, 2 Wheeler Driving License.
