Job summary

Mouser Electronics in Pune, India, seeks a detail-oriented data entry professional for full-time on-site work. You will enter data accurately, prepare reports, and support international order processing with multi-currency awareness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong typing skills, and excellent written and verbal communication in the local language, plus ability to provide Chat support when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and document handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry accurately and efficiently using various computer programs and databases.
• Proofs material entered and generated data reports; reviews discrepancies and clarifies with supervisor when needed.
• Files, keeps records, and transmits reports via fax, mail, e-mail, and other channels as required.
• Promotes and maintains high standards of quality and service excellence.
• Processes work promptly to meet daily productivity objectives and quality goals.
• Understands and can work with multiple currencies and international order requirements.
• Effective time management and planning/organizing skills.
• Provides Chat support as required, with local language proficiency and other languages as needed.
• Supports local Customer Service teams and provides cross-team support when needed.
• Assists team with complex requests and best practices.
• Clear verbal and written communication in the local language (minimum).

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry accurately and efficiently using various computer programs, word processing, spreadsheet, or database commands; formats material as required.
• Proofs material entered and generated data reports as required; reviews discrepancies in data received, requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues related to data, to verify customer requests are processed correctly.
• Files, keeps records, and prepares/transmits/sorts/distributes faxes, mail, e-mail, and reports as needed.
• Promotes and maintains high standards of quality and service excellence.
• Processes work in a timely manner and meets daily productivity objectives; displays a sense of urgency while achieving quality and productivity goals.
• Understands and can correctly work with multiple currencies and other requirements about processing international orders.
• Effective time management and planning/organizing skills.
• Provides Chat support as required, local language plus other required languages.
• Supports local Customer Service teams and provides support for other teams when needed.
• Actively supports the team by aiding for complex or uncommon requests and best practices.
• Professional verbal and written communication in local language (minimum), including in a telephone environment.
