Job summary

Nageen Print- Pack is seeking a costing specialist to manage the cost sheets and quotations for printing and packaging projects. You will forecast material requirements and costs for papers, films, inks, foils and other consumables, and calculate process and labour costs for each job.

You will coordinate with sales, production, purchasing and planning teams to ensure accurate costing inputs, compare estimates with actual costs, and maintain detailed costing records while protecting confidential

• Prepare cost sheets and quotations for printing and packaging jobs.
• Calculate material requirements and costs for paper, board , films, inks, adhesives, foils, laminates and other consumables.
• Calculate printing, lamination, die-cutting, foiling, embossing, pasting, folding and other process costs.
• Calculate machine -hour and labour costs based on production process.
• Consider wastage, make-ready quantity, setup cost and production loss while preparing costing.
• Prepare costing based on job size, quantity, number of colours and production process.
• Coordinate with sales, production ,purchase and planning teams to obtain accurate costing inputs.
• Compare estimated costing with actual production costs and identify major cost variations.
• Maintain costing records and update raw materials and process rates regularly.
• Maintain confidentiality of costing ,margins and pricing information.
