Job summary

Jeanuvs in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, invites talented costing professionals to join our finance team as Costing Executive. You will prepare cost sheets for products, projects and manufacturing processes, calculating material, labor and overhead costs.

You will analyze variances, support pricing and proposals, monitor inventory costs, generate MIS and cost reports, and collaborate with production, procurement, stores and finance to drive cost control and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cost Sheets for products, projects, and manufacturing processes by calculating material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Analyze Cost Variances by comparing actual costs against budgeted or standard costs and identifying areas for improvement.
• Support Quotation & Pricing Activities by providing accurate cost estimates and profitability analysis for customer proposals.
• Monitor Inventory Costs including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, scrap, and wastage to ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Generate MIS & Cost Reports on a monthly basis and present cost-related insights to management for decision-making.
• Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams such as Production, Procurement, Stores, and Finance to collect data and implement cost-control measures.
• Identify Cost Reduction Opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and profitability
