Job summary

HR Guru Placement Services is seeking a Cost Analyst/Cost Accountant to support annual planning and profitability analysis. The role involves preparing cost projections, collecting data on material and labour costs, and performing detailed cost analyses and feasibility studies.

The incumbent will coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to ensure cost audit compliance and contribute to discount evaluations to expand business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prepare CKD Feasibility Study reports and evaluate discount proposals from Distributor to enhance profitability.
• Prepare annual CR Targets with Cost TFT and Production Departments and report monthly achievement.

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of cost projection (material, labour) for Annual Business Plan to determine profitability.
• Coordinate with support departments for collection of input data relating to Material Cost, Labour Cost and CKD Sales Plan.
• Cost Analysis [Manufacturing Cost Analysis] : Standard Vs Actual ; Actual Vs Actual
• Feasibility Study
• Cost benefit Analysis
• Audit coordination
• Prepare CKD Feasibility Study reports and evaluate discount proposals from Distributor to enhance profitability and expand new business opportunities.
• Prepare annual CR Targets in coordination with Cost TFT, Production Departments & report to management regarding achievement of monthly CR targets.
• Submission of cost audit report in XBRL format to MCA to ensure compliance.
• Prepare cost sheets in accordance with costing principles and rules and coordinate with external cost auditor for cost audit certification.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified CA / CMA
