Job summary

Lloyds Engineering Works Limited in Bandra, Mumbai invites a Contracts & Procurement Engineer to lead procurement and contract activities for civil construction and interior projects. You will identify and prequalify vendors, review tenders, prepare BOQs and RFQs, and coordinate with site and planning teams to ensure timely procurement.

The role requires 8-12 years in construction contracts/procurement, strong Excel/ERP skills, and solid negotiation and commercial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and contract activities for civil construction and interior projects.
• Identify, prequalify and maintain vendors, suppliers, subcontractors and labour contractors.
• Review tenders, prepare BOQs, rate analysis, RFQs and techno-commercial comparisons.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate rates and recommend cost-effective procurement options.
• Verify site indents, quantities, specifications and budget allocations.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders, Work Orders and subcontract agreements.
• Coordinate with site, engineering and planning teams to ensure timely procurement.
• Track material deliveries, GRNs and vendor/subcontractor performance.
• Verify bills against POs/Work Orders and coordinate timely payment processing.
