Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contracts & Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end tendering, contracting, and vendor management across large-scale real estate / EPC projects. This role is critical in driving cost efficiency, strengthening commercial frameworks, and ensuring timely project execution through robust supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Develop project-aligned procurement plans based on schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
- Ensure governance-driven, transparent, and audit-ready procurement processes.
- Monitor market trends to optimize pricing and mitigate supply chain risks.
Tendering & Contract Management
- Manage complete tender lifecycle including vendor sourcing, bid management, techno-commercial evaluation, and award.
- Prepare tender documents covering scope, specifications, commercial terms, and conditions.
- Draft and administer contracts with strong risk allocation and performance safeguards.
Vendor Management
- Build and maintain a strong prequalified vendor network across civil, MEP, finishing, and specialized trades.
- Conduct vendor evaluations based on technical capability, financial strength, safety standards, and past performance.
- Implement structured vendor performance review systems.
Commercial & Cost Leadership
- Perform detailed rate analysis, cost benchmarking, and value engineering.
- Lead independent commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Drive measurable cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Stakeholder & Risk Management
- Act as commercial interface between clients, consultants, legal teams, and internal leadership.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks proactively.
- Support project teams post-award to ensure contractual compliance.
Candidate Profile
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in contracts and procurement within reputed real estate developers, EPC firms, or large contracting organizations.
- Proven ownership of complete tendering cycles and independent negotiation capability.
- Strong exposure to high-value procurement portfolios and multi-trade contracting.
- Working knowledge of standard contract frameworks such as FIDIC (or equivalent).
- Strong expertise in rate analysis, contract drafting, and techno-commercial evaluations.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Supply Chain or related discipline.
