Qualifications

• Graduation or Post-Graduation in Civil Engineering from a reputed university/institution.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and contract management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract Activities: Study drawings, prepare BOQ, rate analysis, pre-tender estimates, finalize procurement strategies, select tenderers, issue tender documents, perform techno-commercial comparisons and negotiations.
• Post-Contract Activities: Ensure timely submission of bonds and insurances, coordinate with contractors, monitor contract performance, maintain documentation for audits.

The Engineer Contracts & Procurement will be responsible for managing both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract activities, ensuring effective procurement strategies, accurate cost estimations, and smooth coordination between contractors and project teams. Roles & Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract Activities:

• Study and evaluate drawings, specifications, and design basis reports for qualification, costing, and techno-commercial aspects.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications.
• Conduct rate analysis and prepare pre-tender estimates for key items.
• Finalize procurement strategies and contract packages.
• Identify and select tenderers through pre-qualification processes.
• Prepare and issue tender documents, addendums, and clarifications.
• Perform techno-commercial comparisons, tender evaluations, and negotiations.

Post-Contract Activities:

• Ensure timely submission of bonds, insurances, and other contractual documents by contractors.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve contractual and procurement-related issues.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance with agreed terms.
• Maintain documentation for audits and project reviews.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Graduation or Post-Graduation in Civil Engineering from a reputed university/institution.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and contract management software is preferred.
