White Oaks is seeking a diligent Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of the site store, ensuring proper receipt, storage and issuance of construction materials. You will maintain stock records, verify quantities, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment while ensuring store safety and housekeeping.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor in SCM or related field, 3–5 years in storekeeping for construction projects, strong Excel skills, and precise documentation of GRNs,

• 3–5 years of storekeeping or inventory management experience in construction projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and stock control processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day operations of the site store, including receipt, storage and issue of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records for cement, steel, sand, aggregates and other supplies.
• Verify quantities and quality against POs, challans and invoices on receipt.
• Issue materials to site engineers and workers per approved requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock verification and reconcile with inventory records.
• Prepare GRNs, stock registers and issue slips; ensure safe storage and security.

1. Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site store, ensuring the proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records for cement, steel, sand, aggregates, electrical materials, plumbing materials, tools, and other construction supplies.
• Receive materials from suppliers, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
• Issue materials to site engineers, supervisors, and workers based on approved material requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase department to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
• Maintain proper documentation, including GRNs, material issue slips, stock registers, and material return records.
• Store materials safely and systematically to prevent damage, wastage, theft, and deterioration.
• Track material consumption and report unusual usage, shortages, or excess stock to management.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, procurement teams, and suppliers for smooth material flow.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and security standards within the store area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports as required by management.

2. Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field. Relevant practical experience may also be considered.
• Experience: 35 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of construction materials, inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material documentation.
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management software or ERP systems.
• Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate stock registers, GRNs, material issue records, and inventory reports.
• Coordination: Good communication and coordination skills to work with site engineers, procurement teams, vendors, and project management.
• Personal Attributes: Honest, organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing responsibilities independently.
• Additional Preference: Candidates with experience handling large construction site inventories and minimising material wastage will be preferred.
