Job summary

Jaydeep Group is seeking a detail-oriented Store Keeper in Thane, India with 3–5 years of experience in real estate or construction. You will manage receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables, ensuring accurate stock records and compliance with procedures.

You will maintain records using ERP systems, coordinate with procurement for replenishment, and prepare regular stock reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in real estate, construction, or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of construction materials and equipment.
• Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requisitions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
• Track material consumption and minimize wastage through effective inventory control.
• Maintain proper documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), issue slips, and stock registers.
• Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices within the store.
• Identify slow moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory and report it to management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables while ensuring accurate stock records and compliance with company procedures.

• Knowledge of construction material specifications and storage requirements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or other inventory management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record keeping.
• Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
