Job summary

Raheja Universal in Mumbai seeks a Computer Hardware Engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware infrastructure at the Raheja District project site.

The role covers desktops, laptops, printers, networking devices, biometric systems, and CCTV/ access control. You will ensure smooth operation, perform preventive maintenance, and provide on-site technical support to site and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in computer hardware and network support.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure in construction sites, real estate projects, or industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other hardware devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity across the site office.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for hardware repairs and maintenance.
• Manage installation and maintenance of biometric attendance devices, CCTV hardware, and access control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and health checks of IT assets.
• Maintain records of IT inventory, asset allocation, warranties, and AMC contracts.
• Install operating systems, drivers, antivirus software, and essential business apps.
• Provide technical support to site and corporate staff.
• Ensure data backup procedures and basic information security practices.
• Assist in procurement and evaluation of hardware per business needs.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, printers, networking devices, biometric systems, and other IT equipment required for site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other hardware devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity across the site office.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and external vendors for hardware repairs and maintenance.
• Manage installation and maintenance of biometric attendance devices, CCTV hardware, and access control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and periodic health checks of IT assets.
• Maintain records of IT inventory, asset allocation, warranty details, and AMC contracts.
• Install operating systems, drivers, antivirus software, and essential business applications.
• Provide technical support to site and corporate employees.
• Ensure data backup procedures and basic information security practices are followed.
• Assist in procurement and evaluation of hardware equipment as per business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.

• Knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, printers, CCTV systems, and biometric devices.
