Job summary

Utkarsh Small Finance Bank is seeking a debt collection professional in Chennai to monitor and achieve recovery targets. The role involves processing monthly recovery status to authorities and coordinating with customers and guarantors for repayment plans.

The candidate will visit delinquent customers and ensure updated contact information is maintained, while providing reviews to management and supporting cash handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve collection targets set by the company.
• Responsible for processing monthly status reports to the concerned authority related to recoveries.
• Regularly update client on cases assigned for debt recovery and coordinate with guarantors.
• Visiting customers, guarantors and references to facilitate recovery.
• Provide collection reviews to Management and implement cash receiving and cash register processes.
• Review problematic accounts and propose repayment structures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Reviewing customers and analyzing potential defaulters.
• Understanding default reasons and reporting to management.
• Inform to the management the monthly sublease database.
• To keep a tab on due calling data and update the new contacts and addresses of the customer and guarantor.
• Provide collection review of the relationship officer to the Management.
• Responsible for process implementation of Cash Receiving and Cash Register.
• Review problematic accounts by understanding the issues and provide them better repayment structure.
• Visiting customers, guarantor and references

Responsible for regularly updating the client on the cases assigned for debt recovery from their delinquent customer.
