Job summary

92health, a Chennai-based healthtech startup, is building its Chennai team to sign eye-care clinics and drive field sales for our end-to-end clinic software platform.

You will sign clinics in Chennai, run product demos for clinic owners and front-desk staff, and set up our first field sales process. You will manage one field business development associate and report to the co-founder responsible for sales.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in field sales to clinics, hospitals or doctors in Chennai.
• Fluent Tamil and English.
• Own two-wheeler or car.
• Existing network of clinic owners in Chennai.

92health builds software that runs a clinic end to end: consultation, pharmacy, optical counter, lab and billing on one system. We are an early-stage company with a first group of eye-care clinics in Chennai as customers, and we are now building our Chennai team.

The role

You will sign new clinics in Chennai, run product demos at the clinic, and set up our first field sales process. You will manage one field business development associate and report to the co-founder responsible for sales.

Requirements

• Enthusiastic about working at an early-stage startup: a small team, priorities that change from week to week, and work that goes beyond the job title.
• 4 to 8 years in field sales to clinics, hospitals or doctors (pharma, medical devices or healthcare software), with experience in Chennai.
• Fluent Tamil and English.
• An existing network of clinic owners in Chennai.
• Experience managing or training a field sales representative.
• Comfortable demonstrating software on a laptop or tablet.
• Own two-wheeler or car.

Nice to have

• Experience selling to ophthalmologists or optical retailers.
• Experience with clinic software or EMR products.

Compensation

Fixed monthly pay based on experience, plus an incentive per clinic that goes live. Allowances for field work as needed; hours follow the work rather than a conventional office week.
