The role emphasizes control, analytics, and automation of reporting, with oversight of balance sheet substantiation, audits, investor communications, and board/ACB notes.

Qualifications

• CA with 13+ years post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS.
• Knowledge of LODR and Companies Act requirements.
• Awareness of stock exchange business and capital markets.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly MIS with detailed variance analysis.
• Review/preparation of periodic financial statements per IND AS.
• Ensure quarterly/annual results comply with LODR and Companies Act.
• Oversee balance sheet substantiation and GL reconciliation.
• Prepare Audit Committee and Board notes and presentations.
• Prepare Investor presentations, press releases and annual report.
• Provide commentary for results for Board and investors.
• Establish controls on revenue/expense reporting trends.
• Ensure completeness and correctness of reports from financial systems.
• Lead automation and streamlining of reporting framework.
• Provide data for Investor/Analyst calls and AGM.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting: Responsible for timely submission of monthly / quarterly MIS with detailed variance analysis.
• Responsible for review/preparation of periodic financial statements as per Ind AS.
• Ensure quarterly / annual results are in compliance with LODR and Companys Act requirement.
• Responsible for periodic Balance Sheet substantiation and GL scrutiny/ reconciliation oversight.
• Review / preparation of Audit Committee and Board notes and presentations.
• Preparation / Review of Audit Committee Investor presentation, Press Release, Annual Report.
• Prepare a commentary for results for ACB/Board explaining periodic movement.
• Establish control on trend / patterns observed in revenue and expenditure reporting.
• Confirm completeness and correctness of reports generated from financial systems
• Undertake projects for automation and streamlining of reporting framework.
• Providing required data for Investor / Analyst call, AGM, XBRL etc.
• Filing of applicable Statutory / Regulatory Returns.

Accounting Schema:

• Responsible for Chart of Accounts and Financial mapping oversight.
• Define financial mapping in reporting system.
• Get complete understanding of Companys business and ensure accounting is in line with statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Essential - CA degree with 13+ years post qualification of experience in Financial Reporting
• Financial reporting requirements
• Robust accounting knowledge - IND AS
• Knowledge of LODR and Company’s Act requirements.
• Awareness of Stock Exchange Business.
• Knowledge of capital markets
• Soft skill – Analytical, Expert in excel, Power Point Presentation
